Passing Strange and Wonderful (2012)

Choreographer Ben Wright's passionate, athletic duet is re-imagined for film over four screens. It's performed by two casts in two spaces and was recorded in single takes ten times. I made different versions for different spaces. Here is underwaterscore for mobile devices.

Over 20 minutes through Ian Ballantyne's edit a single performance is created that plays on the deviations in the dancer's reading of the choreographic score. Sound design is by Alan Stones and camera by Becky Edmunds.  The dancers are Delfine Gaborit, Robert Clarke, Keir Patrick and Lise Manavit.  The Passing Strange and Wonderful app for phone and tablet is available at www.p-s-w.co.uk
